Gainerie 91, backed by CAPZA, has acquired Creanog.
Gainerie 91 is a global provider of packaging and visual merchandising for leading luxury brands, employing more than 750 people across four production sites in France, Portugal, China and Mauritius, with sales offices in France, Switzerland, New York and Dubai, as well as a sourcing office in Dongguan, China. The group covers the entire value chain, from design to production.
Creanog is a French design studio and manufacturing workshop specializing in high-end communication materials for leading luxury brands, renowned for its excellence in working with paper and cardboard, particularly through embossing and hot stamping techniques. The company works with prestigious maisons, including Chanel, Dior and Guerlain.
Oaklins’ buy-and-build team in France supported Gainerie 91 throughout the acquisition process, from identifying relevant targets based on predefined strategic criteria to completion of the transaction. This included initiating contact with targets, conducting in-depth analysis and valuation and leading negotiations. Through a structured and systematic approach, the team identified multiple opportunities and conducted parallel discussions, leading to the completion of this first transaction with Creanog, marking the first step in a broader development strategy.
