itemedical has been acquired by Halma

June 2026 — itemedical, a Netherlands-based provider of digital platforms that integrate real-time patient data and alarms from a wide range of medical devices to support clinical decision-making and workflow efficiency in hospitals, has been acquired by Halma plc, a global group of life-saving technology companies. The acquisition represents a milestone in itemedical’s development and provides a platform for its next phase of growth. By joining Halma’s healthcare sector as a business unit of Halma subsidiary Static Systems Group (SSG), itemedical will strengthen its position as a provider of digital hospital workflow solutions, benefiting from access to a global network of technology businesses, resources to accelerate innovation and opportunities to expand its international footprint.

itemedical develops and supplies digital platforms, software, hardware and clinical workflow solutions that integrate real-time patient data and alarms from a range of medical devices. Its solutions support clinical decision-making, improve patient safety and enhance workflow efficiency in intensive care units (ICUs) and other critical care environments. Headquartered in Geldermalsen, the Netherlands, with additional offices in Belgium and the UK, itemedical serves healthcare providers across Northwest Europe and has established a strong market position through its specialized expertise and mission-critical solutions.

Halma is a global group of approximately 50 technology companies focused on products and solutions that improve safety, health and environmental outcomes. Listed on the London Stock Exchange and a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index, Halma operates through a decentralized business model that enables its portfolio companies to retain their entrepreneurial culture while benefiting from long-term investment, strategic support and international growth opportunities. Within its healthcare sector, Halma partners with niche technology companies that deliver innovative solutions to healthcare providers worldwide.

SSG provides digital nurse call, bedhead services trunking and fire safety systems that support safe, efficient and responsive care. Its solutions are used across hospitals and other complex environments on a daily basis, helping care teams respond quickly while supporting patient safety.

Moneybox’s employee share sale has set another milestone for London’s Private Securities Market

The London Stock Exchange’s Private Securities Market (PSM) continues to demonstrate its potential as a venue for providing shareholder liquidity in high-growth private companies. Following the successful employee share sale for autonomous driving pioneer Wayve earlier this month, fintech leader Moneybox has completed a US$61 million (£45 million) employee liquidity event through the PSM. By structuring the transaction as an employee liquidity event, long-serving employees with vested equity have been able to realize some of the value they helped create while enabling Moneybox to remain private and continue its growth journey. Crowdcube managed the employee seller and investor participation process.
