Stephen Nemeth

Stephen is a director at Oaklins Cavendish, one of Oaklins’ member firms in the UK. He has over 15 years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions, focused on the consumer & retail and food & beverage sectors. Steve has completed a wide range of corporate finance transactions, from cross-border PLC divestments to owner-managed company sales. His clients have included private companies and their shareholders, private equity houses and public companies. Recent acquisitions he has advised on include Venus Wine & Spirit Merchants by Booker Group Ltd., a subsidiary of Tesco plc, and Garden care product manufacturer Doff Portland by Pelsis Group.

Stephen joined Oaklins in 2020 from Clearwater International, where he had spent six years, and started his career in the assurance practice of PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the Channel Islands, where he focused on financial services and specifically the private equity industry. He graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2010 and is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
