Nico Scheiderer

Associate Director

Nico is an associate director at Oaklins Austria. He advises corporates, entrepreneurs and privately-held companies on sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, as well as debt advisory and strategic financing matters. He has advised clients across the industrials, energy and infrastructure, healthcare and technology sectors. His additional areas of expertise encompass business analysis, financial modeling and company valuations. Recent transactions include advising Ushio Inc., together with the Development Bank of Japan, on the acquisition of ams OSRAM’s entertainment and industrial lighting business, as well as the shareholders of Fluidda, an AI-powered respiratory imaging and clinical research technology company, on its sale to Banook Group. He also advised Unigea Solar Projects Romania on securing project financing for the development of a utility-scale photovoltaic project.

Prior to joining Oaklins in 2024, Nico gained corporate development experience at AMAG and voestalpine, where he supported strategic transactions and inorganic growth initiatives. He also worked in real estate and structured finance at Pallas Capital. Nico has a degree in business administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, specializing in finance and SME management.
