TOG Manufacturing Company, Inc. has been acquired by Doncasters Group

Global Power Equipment Group Inc. (Global Power) has sold TOG Manufacturing Company, Inc. (TOG) to Doncasters Group, a portfolio company of Dubai International Capital. Financial details have not been disclosed.

TOG manufactures precision machined parts for application in the US defense department, power generation, offshore, drilling, and turbine manufacturing industries. It offers precision machined parts, including specialty fasteners, rotor studs, valve components, bushings, and other miscellaneous precision nitrided parts for gas and steam turbine power generation applications. The company also offers components for the submarine and surface vessel industries, including new construction and refurbishing of military submarines and boats. TOG Manufacturing Company, Inc. was formerly known as TOG Machining Company, Inc. and changed its name to TOG Manufacturing Company, Inc. in 1992. The company was founded in 1982 and is based in North Adams, Massachusetts.

Doncasters Group manufactures precision components and assemblies for the aerospace, industrial gas turbine, turbocharger components, petrochemical, construction, industrial, transportation and superalloy markets. The group excels in working with customers in finding viable, cost-effective solutions to even the most demanding applications requiring alloys that are difficult to shape and form. The company's vast product portfolio spans from auxiliary equipment for gas turbines to small, high alloy parts such as seals, shims and brackets. The company also offers a broad range of services that have been enhancing plant asset value for over fifty years, including general and specialty construction, maintenance and modification, and plant management support services. Global Power covers the full life cycle from new build engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of power plants to plant construction, maintenance, upgrades, power uprates and material condition improvements.
