RPS Group Plc has acquired Kraan Consulting.
RPS Group is a UK-based environmental consultancy and planning firm quoted on the London stock exchange (under RPS-LON). The Group provides consultancy services related to town and country planning, urban design, transport planning and highway design, environmental impact assessment and provision of water and waste utilities, energy infrastructure, services related to health, safety and risk management, management of water services, and services to the oil and gas, renewable energy and nuclear sectors. RPS operates offices located in the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, Malaysia, Australia and the Netherlands.
Kraan Consulting, established in 1979, is a Rotterdam-based consultancy that provides urban estate management and environmental services advice to blue chip clients in the Netherlands. The firm's consultancy services enable a wide range of companies and government agencies to manage their property occupation efficiently and cost-effectively, as well as to reduce energy use, consequently reducing their carbon footprint.
Kraan will be integrated with RPS’ existing business in the Netherlands. A number of RPS’ current services are commissioned by Kraan and mutual clients will have access to a more comprehensive service as a result of this acquisition. The executives of Kraan and all staff have joined RPS and will be engaged in the combined business going forward.
