David Lyons

Managing Director

David is a managing director at IBI Corporate Finance, Oaklins’ member firm in Ireland. He has advised on numerous transactions covering trade sales, acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, restructurings and debt advisory mandates. He works across multiple sectors, though has a particular focus on healthcare services and leads Oaklins’ healthcare services team. Recent transactions he has led include the recapitalization of The City Bin Company, the sale of Sisk Healthcare Group to Uniphar Plc, the sale of Lily O’Brien’s Chocolates to Colian and the joint venture between Dunbia and Dawn Meats.

David graduated from Dublin City University in 1996 with a degree in accounting and finance, and subsequently qualified as a chartered accountant in 1999. He obtained a diploma in insolvency from Chartered Accountants Ireland in 2011.
