Managing Director

Ted is a managing director at IBI Corporate Finance, Oaklins’ member firm in Ireland. Ted leads the dedicated private company team, which advises entrepreneurial private companies on a wide spectrum of complex transactions, supporting them through their growth, development and maturity phases. Since joining IBI in 1996, Ted has advised on over 100 transactions covering trade sales, acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, buy-outs, fundraisings, restructurings and debt advisory mandates. Recently, Ted advised on the sales of Pathfinder, Top Oil, Lily O’Brien’s and La Rousse Foods as well as the Arkphire equity fundraising from Bregal Milestone.

Prior to joining IBI, Ted worked as head of strategic development at Bank of Ireland Securities Services and in Fyffes plc as a member of the acquisitions team in London. He graduated with a degree in commerce from University College, Galway. Having qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG, he started his career with KPMG in Toronto and London in a number of senior roles.
