Hamburguesa Nostra, S.L. has been acquired by Grupo Rodilla
The shareholders of Hamburguesa Nostra, a pioneering restaurant group specialized in the gourmet burger segment, have sold the company to Grupo Rodilla. Financial details have not been disclosed.
Founded in 2007, Hamburguesa Nostra is a restaurant group specialized in the gourmet burger segment. The group includes the brands Hamburguesa Nostra, Vaca Nostra and Sota Caballo Rey. It currently has 21 restaurants in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante and Malaga and six tasting workshops located in El Corte Inglés and the main food markets in Madrid. Additionally, the company has a production center in which they produce and distribute the hamburger patties to restaurants and supermarket chains.
Founded in 1939, Grupo Rodilla is a restaurant group which includes brands such as Rodilla, Café de Indias and Café Jamaica. It currently has around 200 locations: Rodilla (125), Cafés Jamaica (53) and Café de Indias (10). Additionally, Grupo Rodilla has 12 restaurants in El Corte Inglés located in the Gourmet Experience area. Grupo Rodilla is part of Sociedad Anónima Damm, one of the leading Spanish breweries based in Barcelona.
The founder of Hamburguesa Nostra will remain in the company as a minority shareholder, participating in the future strategy of the company as a cooperation partner of Grupo Rodilla.
