Almaviva S.p.A. has successfully finalized a voluntary public tender offer for Almawave S.p.A.
With over 40 years of experience in driving digital transformation for enterprises and public administrations, Almaviva provides information technology, communications and software services, as well as cloud-based solutions.
Almawave develops software technologies focused on artificial intelligence, natural language processing and big data management. The company owns and distributes patented technologies offering solutions for text and speech analytics, knowledge management, multi-channel contact management, virtual agents and customer experience management under the Iride and Audioma platforms. Its software portfolio also features automatic speech recognition solutions under the Audioma, FlyScribe and Verbamatic brands. As a publicly listed company, Almawave has a widely dispersed shareholder base.
Oaklins Italy’s parent company, Banca Akros, served as the financial advisor and appointed broker for the collection of shares in Almaviva’s voluntary public tender offer for the remaining 21.0% of Almawave’s share capital.
