Rafael Frugis


Rafael is a director at IGC Partners, Oaklins’ member firm in Brazil. He has worked in several sectors, such as healthcare, fintech, agribusiness, consumer and retail, software and IT services, marketing services, logistics and construction & engineering services. Recent transactions he has advised on include ZUP in its sale to Itaú Unibanco, Grupo ACS in its sale to Engie, Grupo AGP in its sale to the Brazilian private equity firm Patria Investimentos, Texlog in its sale to Sequoia, RZF in its partial sale to Grupo GPS and Femme in its partial sale to the global private equity fund L Catterton.

In 2019, Rafael completed a secondment at Oaklins Cavendish, one of Oaklins’ member firms in the UK. Prior to joining IGC Partners in 2015, he worked at Itaú BBA and XP Investimentos, before which he did a consultancy project for Procter & Gamble. Rafael has a BA in Business from Insper.
