Château Lafitte Carcasset has been acquired by Groupe Rapido
Groupe Rapido, through its subsidiary Eden Village, has acquired a majority stake in Chateau Laffitte Carcasset from SEPIA and SDVV, two family offices located in Luxembourg, for an undisclosed consideration.
Château Lafitte Carcasset is listed in the Cru Bourgeois. The domain started producing wine in 1781, has approximately 30 hectares and is located in the heart of the gravelly plateau of the Saint-Estèphe AOP (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée).
Groupe Rapido is specialized in the manufacture of recreational vehicles, motor homes, mobile homes and converted vans. The group has evolved from a quality French brand into a European group, becoming a market leader in motor homes. This success is primarily built on Rapido’s exacting quality standards and the acquisition of specialized brands in various recreational vehicle market segments.
Oaklins' team in France advised the owner of Laffitte Carcasset and managed the sale to Groupe Rapido.
