Sven-Åke is a senior advisor at Oaklins Sweden, with more than 30 years’ experience in advising clients on mergers, acquisitions and disposals. His key areas of expertise are in the healthcare, food & beverage and industrial manufacturing sectors. Sven-Åke also has extensive experience in representing buyers in cross-border transactions, examples of which include advising French Naturex’s acquisition of Swedish Oat Fiber, Dutch ICT Group’s acquisition of Additude in Sweden and Nolato’s acquisition of US-based GW Plastics. Another notable transaction is the divestment of a primary care division from the leading healthcare company Aleris in Sweden.
Sven-Åke joined the firm in 2005 when the advisory firm he founded, Growth Factory, merged with Oaklins Sweden. Prior to this, he was instrumental in the establishment of Ernst & Young’s corporate finance practice in Sweden, followed by a period with the world leading advisory firm CartaBoozAllenHamilton. On joining Bure Equity, a listed investment house, Sven-Åke led the corporate finance department and later the investment team, focusing on acquiring and developing a group of leading companies in the education and training sectors. Sven-Åke has an MSc in Business Administration and Economics.
