Guardian Fueling Technologies has been acquired by ValorBridge Partners
The private shareholders of Guardian Fueling Technologies have sold the company to an investor group led by ValorBridge Partners, a private equity group. Financial details have not been disclosed.
Guardian is one of the largest fueling systems distribution, construction, installation, and services firms in the southeast of the USA.
ValorBridge is a private equity group that led an investor group that included ValorBridge, Clear Creek Equity, and members of Guardian management team.
Oaklins' team in Jacksonville advised the seller in this transaction. In June 2014, Oaklins' team had advised Guardian Fueling on the acquisition of JMP Solutions, Inc., their largest competitor. That acquisition was the catalyst to significantly accelerate Guardian’s growth by leveraging customer relationships over a wider geographic area and adding depth and expertise to the management team.
