Smiles Dental has been acquired by Oasis Healthcare
The private shareholders of Smiles Dental have sold the company to Oasis Healthcare for US$50 million.
Smiles Dental is a chain of approximately 80 dental clinics across Ireland and the UK. Smiles Dental was established on South Anne Street, Dublin, in February 2005. Since then the company has grown to become a leading provider of oral healthcare in Ireland and the UK.
Oasis Healthcare, backed by private equity firm Bridgepoint, is a dental services provider in the UK.
Oaklins' team in Ireland advised the seller in this transaction. The team handled the disposal process of Smiles Dental, including negotiating with the purchaser's advisors, structuring the deal, negotiating key terms and project managing the due diligence and legal process to completion.
