Abtran has sold a majority stake to Carlyle Cardinal Ireland Fund
The private shareholders of Abtran have sold the company to the Carlyle Cardinal Ireland Fund. Financial details have not been disclosed.
Abtran is a business process management company serving a broad mix of blue chip private sector and public sector clients. Abtran's key services include customer management solutions for clients' customers (e.g. help desk, account management, sales) and identity and validation services (e.g. driver license processing).
Carlyle Cardinal Ireland Fund is a joint venture between The Carlyle Group and Cardinal Capital Group that makes buyout and growth equity investments in mid-sized companies across a variety of sectors on the Island of Ireland. Equity investments range from US$5.5 – 55 million.
