One51 plc has acquired a majority stake in IPL Inc. from Novacap, a Canadian private equity firm, for US$200 million.
The One51 group comprises three operating businesses focused on environmental services and plastics together with an investment portfolio. The company is based in Ireland and employs approximately 1,700 people in Ireland, the UK, North America and China.
Based in Canada, IPL is a leading North American manufacturer of injection-molded plastic products including thin-wall overcaps and containers. IPL leads the industry when it comes to design and technology expertise, and understands our customers' marketing challenges. The company grows by bringing to market innovative, value added products. The engine that drives this innovation is the sharing of knowledge and technologies across the company’s three market sectors.
