ACTEAM ENR has been acquired by Butagaz Group

Butagaz Group has acquired ACTEAM ENR as part of a wider strategy to expand their solar energy portfolio.

ACTEAM ENR provides full EPC and IPP services for solar power plants, from the design of the plant to its commissioning. The company is an expert in the development, engineering, construction, financing and operation of photovoltaic power plants. It controls the entire value chain of a solar project, which allows it to offer turnkey solutions to its partners, covering photovoltaic power plants on the ground, on roofs and in the shade. ACTEAM ENR performs these services on its own behalf (IPP) and on behalf of third-party customers (EPC).

Butagaz Group’s new subsidiary Wewise concentrates its renewable energy, photovoltaic solar and energy systems management activities. Wewise is positioned as a catalyst for the transition to renewable energy, offering personalized support to mid-sized companies. It stands out for its ability to provide tailored, local, innovative and sustainable energy services. With the integration of Solewa and Soltéa in 2021, followed by Sys ENR and O'SiToit and now ACTEAM ENR, Wewise brings together these companies specializing in photovoltaic solar energy to form a strong and ambitious French business.

Butagaz Group is owned by DCC, which is a leading international sales, marketing and support services group providing solutions across three transformative sectors: energy, healthcare and technology. DCC owns businesses in 22 countries across four continents, empowering 16,600 employees to create long term value for shareholders, customers, society and the planet. Headquartered in Dublin, DCC plc is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 100.
