International Agric. Processing has been acquired by Marcatus QED Inc.

International Agricultural Processing Private Limited (IAP), an India-based company exporting gherkins, has been acquired by Marcatus QED Inc., a Canadian company designing custom supply solutions for high quality agricultural products worldwide. Financial terms of this transaction have not been disclosed.

IAP sells the majority of its products, approximately 66% in 2009/2010, to agents in Russia, Australia, Europe and the United States. The company has 8–10 agents who purchase the gherkins from IAP and subsequently resell the products in their respective countries. The remainder of IAP's products, approximately 33%, is sold directly to customers worldwide.

Oaklins' team in the Netherlands advised the Dutch owner of IAP on the sale to Marcatus QED Inc.
