Mandarin Capital Partners and Banca Esperia have acquired Elios Ceramica Spa from the Levoni family. Financial details have not been disclosed.
Mandarin Capital Partners is an Italian and Chinese private equity investment fund active in the mid-market segment. Banca Esperia is a private bank owned by Mediobanca.
Based in Fiorano Modenese, Italy, Elios Ceramica manufactures pavements and ceramic floor coverings for outdoor and indoor applications. The company sells its products through a sales network in Italy and internationally. Elios Ceramica's ongoing drive for improvement has allowed it to create cutting-edge collections regarding design and technology, which meet the technical requirements of architects and interior designers as well as the taste of end consumers.
