Select Alimenta Srl has acquired Emans Derivati Aromatici Srl
Select Alimenta Srl (Select), a company based in Milan, active in the production of food flavors, has acquired a 100% stake in Emans Derivati Aromatici Srl, (Emans) also based in Milan, from Arominvest, an investment company, for US$10 million.
Select, founded in 1968, is led by Hans Udo Wenzel, President, and Tonio Grassmann, CEO, and is active in the production of a wide range of natural and natural-identical flavors. This transaction represents Select's first move in the framework of a strategic project aimed at creating an international group in the flavor industry across Europe.
Since 1947, Emans has been synonymous with excellence in the flavorings and extracts sector for the confectionery, pharmaceutical and beverage industries.
