Jean De Wet

Senior Associate

Jean is a senior associate at Grindrod Bank, Oaklins’ member firm in South Africa. He has experience in valuations, mergers & acquisitions, capital raisings and advising clients on public market regulatory requirements across a number of industries. Jean has also gained particular experience in debt advisory. Recent transactions include a number of debt advisory mandates, the disposal of information technology company Reflex Technologies and the equity capital raise for healthcare company Advanced Health.

Jean joined Grindrod Bank’s corporate finance team in 2012 from the bank’s treasury division, where he was involved in the expansion of the deposit base and facilitating fixed income sales. Before joining Grindrod Bank, Jean spent three years at PSG Online as an equity research analyst. Sectors covered included retail, general industrials and small-caps.
