RZF has sold a 60% stake to Grupo GPS
The private shareholders of RZF Projetos, Construções e Serviços Rodoviários Ltda. have sold a 60% stake in the company to Grupo GPS, a facilities management, security and logistics service provider backed by private equity funds Warburg Pincus and Gávea Investimentos.
Headquartered in Araras, in the state of São Paulo, RZF provides maintenance services to highway concessionaires. It offers routine road and green areas maintenance, cleaning and garbage removing, reforestation and agricultural, and paving and emergency services. The company has recurrent revenues, long-term contracts (3–5 years) and private clients such as road contractors who outsource the maintenance services.
Grupo GPS is a leading provider of facilities management (cleaning, maintenance, technical and support services); security (property, guarding and monitoring services); indoor logistics (warehouse management, picking, packing, shipping and supply management services); and engineering and utilities (water and wastewater treatment, water reuse, treatment systems, operation and maintenance). Grupo GPS is based in Brazil and has over 32,000 employees. With this transaction, RZF becomes GPS’s main company in highway conservation services in Brazil.
