Bloom Equity Partners Management, LLC has acquired GRC International Group plc
GRC International Group plc, a leading provider of IT governance, risk management and compliance solutions, has delisted from the LSE’s AIM market and partnered with Bloom Equity Partners Management, LLC to further develop its product offering to meet its customers’ most critical cyber security and regulatory challenges.
Bloom Equity is a prominent technology-focused private equity firm headquartered in New York City. The firm leverages decades of investing and operating experience to rapidly unlock transformational growth and deliver superior returns to its investment partners and management teams. Investing exclusively in lower middle-market software and tech-enabled business services companies, Bloom Equity drives enduring market value by partnering closely with founders and management teams, injecting capital to unlock growth and providing operational resources and expertise to enable meaningful step-change to businesses.
Founded in 2002, GRC International Group plc provides IT and cyber security governance, risk management and compliance solutions. Through its flagship brand, IT Governance Ltd., GRCI provides consulting services, training, tools and software solutions to address a wide range of compliance needs. These include established frameworks, such as ISO 27001 and GDPR, as well as emerging regulations, like DORA. Headquartered in the UK, GRCI serves customers across the UK, EU and USA.
Oaklins Cavendish, one of Oaklins’ member firms in the UK, worked alongside Bart Macdonald, Jeffrey Hsiang and the team at Bloom Equity Partners on its successful take-private and subsequent re-financing of GRCI. This transaction highlights Oaklins Cavendish’s strength and expertise in advising Bloom Equity on its initial acquisition of GRCI, and subsequently working with them to put an appropriate debt funding package in place. In this way, GRCI was provided with the financial platform to execute its growth strategy.
