The New Originals Company has acquired SoFine Foods from the ELSA Group.
Founded in 1963, SoFine Foods is a manufacturer of tofu and soy-based products, specializing in sustainable, organic and GMO-free alternatives. The company offers a diverse range of tofu and meat alternatives. Headquartered in Landgraaf, the Netherlands, SoFine operates two established brands that serve markets across Europe, including Germany, Finland and the Benelux. SoFine is renowned for its environmentally friendly production methods and sustainable packaging practices.
Established in Vienna, The New Originals Company is a leading European producer of high-quality tofu and plant-based foods, made from locally sourced soybeans and chickpeas. With production facilities in Germany, Slovakia and Romania, it is a key player in the European plant-based food industry. The New Originals Company owns well-known brands such as Lunter, Omami and Inedit. By blending traditional methods with modern needs, The New Originals Company is committed to sustainable practices across Europe, working closely with local farmers and using gentle processing methods to achieve the perfect balance of health, sustainability and value.
The Elsa Group is one of the leading industrial players in the Swiss dairy industry and a part of the Migros Group (Migros Industrie).
