Oaklins M&A Market Report H1 2021

A detailed analysis of the German M&A market in the first half of 2021

After the Corona Year 2020, M&A players are coming back in full force

To the great surprise of many experts, the M&A market with German participation experienced a brilliant start in the first half of the year. With an increase of 63% compared to the first half of 2020, a total of 1,476 transactions were registered or concluded. COVID-19 hardly seems to play a role anymore at least in the eyes of most M&A players. Moreover, high liquidity and fiscal policy initiatives are stimulating M&A transactions not only domestically, but also cross-border.

Read the M&A market report for the first half of 2021 to find out which sectors are currently in particularly high demand, where the foreign buyers came from and in which countries German entrepreneurs have invested. You will also find an analysis of the most active financial investors and an outlook on M&A activity in the second half of the year.

We wish you an enjoyable read and are looking forward to getting in touch with you.
