Roman Debald joins Oaklins Germany as Managing Director in Frankfurt
Oaklins Germany further strengthens its advisory expertise in the industrial sector
We are pleased to welcome Roman Debald as Managing Director to the Oaklins Germany team. Roman joined Oaklins Germany in spring 2025 as a Managing Director. He will strengthen the leadership team and, together with Torsten Aul, Head of Debt Advisory, further expand the Frankfurt office in a targeted manner. Roman brings nearly 20 years of transaction experience in corporate finance advisory and has successfully supported numerous complex national and international projects — on both the buy- and sell-side.
In his new role, Roman will be responsible for the Safety & Security sector, with a focus on electronic access control, locking systems, building technology, security services, video surveillance, biometric security systems, and personal protective equipment.
In addition, he will lead Oaklins Germany’s Private Equity Practice, further expanding the firm’s collaboration with financial investors.

Prior to joining Oaklins, Roman spent over 17 years at Houlihan Lokey and its predecessor firm Leonardo & Co. (formerly Drueker & Co.) in Frankfurt and Paris. His recent transactions include the sale of Vision-Box to Amadeus IT, the divestment of TMD Friction to AEQUITA, and the acquisition of U-Power by NB Renaissance.
