Oaklins DeSilva+Phillips client G/O Media, a portfolio company of Great Hill Partners, has sold Gizmodo, a premier international media outlet dedicated to technology, to Keleops.
G/O Media is a premium digital publishing company with a portfolio of brands defined by journalism that is thought-leading, independent and rabidly passionate. The company was acquired from Univision in 2019 in a transaction backed by Great Hill Partners.
Gizmodo represents a significant milestone for Keleops, already one of the biggest European digital media publisher groups in the consumer tech sector. By expanding its reach within the industry and internationally, Keleops anticipates effectively doubling its current audience size, fostering deeper brand awareness and engagement.
