Niscon is an Ontario-based engineering and motion-control specialist serving the global live entertainment and stage automation industry. Founded in 2001, the company designs and delivers the Raynok Motion Control System, a scalable hardware-and-software platform used in theaters, concert venues and custom entertainment installations. Known for its focus on safety, reliability and creative flexibility, Niscon provides end-to-end solutions from system design to commissioning, backed by strong customer support and a long-standing reputation as a trusted partner for complex motion-control productions.
SGPS ShowRig is a global provider of staging, rigging and automation solutions for concerts, live events, film and television, theater and large corporate productions. Founded in 1974 and headquartered in Las Vegas with additional US locations and a European office in Utrecht, the Netherlands, the company combines a vast rental inventory with custom fabrication and in-house engineering to deliver turnkey production support. With more than 50 years of experience, SGPS ShowRig is recognized for enabling complex, large-scale productions and continues to expand its capabilities and geographic reach to serve leading entertainment clients worldwide. SGPS ShowRig’s clients include some of the biggest names in entertainment, such as musical acts Blink-182, Kenny Chesney, Bad Bunny, Billie Eilish, KISS, Motley Crue, Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Brandy & Monica, as well as numerous award-winning and well-known film and television productions.
Niscon was sold by owner Denis Lefrançois, a serial entrepreneur and pioneer in the North American entertainment industry, most notably as founder of Solotech and currently president of SHOWSDT. He will guide the integration of Niscon with SGPS ShowRig
