Maarten Wolleswinkel

Maarten is the founder and Executive Chairman of Oaklins Netherlands. He has acted as lead advisor on over 100 international transactions. His key areas of expertise are in agritech, horticulture, tech-enabled services, vertical markets software, healthcare providers, and testing and inspection businesses.

After starting his career at Fokker Aircraft and Kas Bank NV, Maarten became CEO of Physio Medical Systems B.V., a specialized respiratory and anesthesia equipment business. On completing a turnaround and international growth plan, he sold the company to German multinational Dräger A.G. Maarten then worked for PWC Corporate Finance as a senior M&A professional and subsequently founded Oaklins Netherlands. Maarten is a former President and Chairman of Oaklins International Inc. and was a board member of McKinsey's New Venture business plan contest and University Chair of the Entrepreneurs Organization's recent "Change the World" conference. He is a regular speaker on M&A topics and a guest lecturer on the New CFO executive program at Erasmus University's ESAA. He has a master's in Business Economics from the Free University of Amsterdam.
