Brian Livingston

Brian is Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at Oaklins Smith & Williamson, one of Oaklins' member firms in the UK. He also leads Oaklins' building materials team. He has over 25 years' experience in advising companies on fundraisings and the buying and selling of owner-managed and entrepreneurial businesses. Particular expertise in private equity comes from having spent 13 years with the private equity provider 3i as a principal making investments and advising on sales and purchases before joining Oaklins Smith & Williamson. He has completed over 150 transactions as well as many cross-border deals with French, German, Japanese, US and Spanish counterparts.
