Dr. Lutz Becker

Lutz is a Managing Partner at Oaklins Germany with more than 25 years of experience in M&A and corporate finance. He is an M&A expert, especially in the retail/trade and consumer goods sector, and has deep industry knowledge of the fashion and textile segment. Lutz has also gained substantial industry know-how from advising on transactions in business services and real estate. He has advised more than 100 successfully closed M&A sell-side and buy-side assignments in Germany and cross-border. Over the course of his career he has established a broad contact network in Germany and internationally, enabling him to find the most suitable strategic partner for clients. Lutz has an extensive understanding of the German mid-market and has numerous contacts in mid-market companies in retail/trade, consumer goods, business services and real estate, such as Edeka, Rewe, Otto, Deichmann, Zalando, Dussmann and Zech Group.


Lutz has a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Munich and a master's degree from the University of Mannheim.
