Empresas Lipigas S.A. has placed 20% of its shares in an Initial Public Offering

Empresas Lipigas S.A. has completed an IPO for 20% of its shares for US$150 million. It is the first IPO in Chile since 2013.

Empresas Lipigas is one of the leading players in the distribution and commercialization of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at a residential, industrial, commercial and vehicular level, with presence in Chile, Peru and Colombia. The company started its activities 60 years ago in Chile with extended national coverage. Empresas Lipigas also sells natural gas (NG) for residential clients as well as LNG for industrial clients. Additionally, starting 2016 the company begun the distribution of compressed natural gas (CNG) in Peru.

Oaklins' team in Chile acted as financial advisor to Empresas Lipigas and placement agent for its IPO.
