Jean-Bernard is a director at Oaklins KBC Securities in Belgium. With 13 years of experience in real estate, Jean-Bernard is responsible for advising the Belgian team on real estate matters and transactions. He has extensive expertise in real estate advisory, international portfolio management, M&A transactions, capital market transactions, strategic consulting and large real estate transactions across the world in a wide range of sectors. Recent transactions include the sale of Quares Student Housing (real estate) and the sale of FAP (farmland portfolio) alongside a large number of equity transactions for listed real estate companies on Euronext Brussels.
Prior to joining the firm in 2021, Jean-Bernard was active for several years in the occupiers advisory & transaction services division of CBRE and in corporate solutions at JLL. He also supported international corporates with efficient real estate solutions around the world. In 2015, he was successively appointed as the global transactions manager for UCB Pharma and the EIMEA transactions manager out of London for Procter & Gamble. Jean-Bernard started his career in Shanghai, China, with Realys – ISG Plc, a global engineering and design UK firm delivering first-class projects worldwide. He has an MBA from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University and graduated in both business management from KULeuven and in international trade from the EPHEC management school.
