Tom Nicholls

Wicedyrektor

Tom is an associate director at Oaklins DeSilva+Phillips in New York. He is a member of the transaction support team which facilitates technology and media-focused M&A transactions through financial analysis, market research, buyer list origination, valuations, pitch design and the completion of client documentation. Tom has gained extensive experience in the events, technology, digital media and publishing industries, most recently assisting Paramount’s divestiture of VidCon to Informa LLC and Amplify Publishing Group’s sale to Civica Media, a newly formed entity backed by Blackbern Partners.

Prior to joining the firm, Tom worked at Oaklins Henslow in Melbourne, Australia. He has a combination of investment banking and equity research experience, including supporting IPOs and capital raises on the equity capital markets team at Oaklins Henslow, as well as covering publicly listed TMT companies. Tom is a former professional athlete, having had a 10-year career in the AFL (Australian Football League) playing for the Gold Coast Suns. He has a Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University.
