Tom Elzey is a Managing Director at Alexander Hutton, Oaklins' member firm in Seattle. He co-founded the firm in 1986. Tom has worked with mid-sized northwest corporations in both investment and commercial banking capacities for over 30 years. As a corporate finance specialist, he has completed dozens of corporate debt placements, and he has advised and completed over 50 M&A transactions. Additionally, his experience includes leveraged buy-outs, recapitalizations and venture capital. A former commercial banker, Tom spent 13 years as a corporate lender with Seafirst and Rainier Banks, and he was a Vice President and Commercial Loan Department Manager at Standard Chartered Bank.
Tom holds a BA degree in Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound and earned his MBA with an emphasis in finance from Seattle University, where he currently serves on the MBA Advisory Board and the University Board of Regents. He is also a former member of the President’s Club of the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce and a board member and treasurer of the Seattle Executives Association.
