Philip is a Partner at Oaklins Cavendish, an Oaklins member firm in the UK. He joined Oaklins Cavendish in 1999 and has led around 50 company disposals for multi-national corporates, private equity firms and owner-managers. Philip's main focus has been in the engineering and manufacturing sectors. He heads the Industrials team at Oaklins Cavendish. Philip started his career at British Leyland where he was involved in the robotics for the new Mini Metro. He joined Price Waterhouse London in 1983, working on a wide range of audit and consultancy projects. Philip gained extensive corporate finance experience, initially with Hambros Bank, where he was in the engineering team. Since leaving Hambros Bank in 1994, Philip has concentrated on providing corporate finance advice to mid-market corporate clients and owner-managers.
Philip has an honors degree in Engineering Production from Birmingham University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986.
