Obelisk has been acquired by Grupo Visabeira
The shareholders of Obelisk have sold the company to Grupo Visabeira.
Obelisk is a specialist professional engineering services firm that provides full end-to-end managed solutions to the telecommunications and power markets in Ireland, the UK and Africa.
Visabeira is a Portugal-based international conglomerate with interests in the telecommunications, construction, industry, tourism, real estate and services sectors. Headquartered in Viseu, Visabeira began its activity in 1980 within the telecommunications engineering sector. Present in 16 countries, the group sells its products and services in more than 116 markets.
Oaklins’ team in Ireland advised the shareholders of Obelisk on this sell-side transaction, assisted by Oaklins in France, who introduced the Visabeira group.
