IRV AS has been acquired by Sertion AB

June 2025 — Sertion AB has acquired 100% of the shares in IRV AS, strengthening its Nordic presence and expanding its portfolio with IRV’s technical expertise and established customer base.

IRV is a provider of high-quality fabrication and installation services for piping and structural components in both non-alloyed and alloyed steel, as well as aluminum. Over several decades, the company has built a strong position in the Norwegian market. Its service offerings include pipe and structural fabrication, prefabrication and installation and inspection services. IRV serves clients across a range of sectors, including oil and gas, maritime and shipbuilding, power generation, food processing and other process industries.

Sertion is a group of expert companies operating in the fields of pipework and plumbing. The group focuses on the design, installation and maintenance of water, heating and sanitation systems, as well as industrial piping and energy gas solutions. Headquartered in Örebro, Sweden, Sertion employs 600 people and has an annual turnover of approximately US$176 million (SEK 1.7 billion). By securing flow in buildings and businesses, the group contributes to improved efficiency, sustainability and quality of life. Sertion is owned by Consolid Equity, a Swedish private equity firm that consolidates small private companies across Northern Europe, with a particular focus on business services in the Nordic region.
