Mehdi is a director at Swicorp, Oaklins’ member firm in Saudi Arabia. He has extensive experience in providing financial and strategic advice for mergers and acquisitions, fundraising and valuations. Mehdi has worked on numerous buy-side and sell-side transactions, both domestic and international. He has broad industry experience, but currently focuses on real estate, consumer & retail, healthcare & pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, business support services, transport & logistics, building materials, EPC and banking. Notable clients he has advised include Alesayi Group, Dabbagh Group, the Jeddah Urban and Regeneration Company, Initial Saudi Arabia Ltd, DMIT Group, Alireza Group, Kingdom Holding, JAZADCO and Retal. Recent transactions he has completed are a debt raising for Initial Saudi Arabia Ltd, the establishment of the Ewan Al-Maali real estate fund with equity and debt raising, the disposal of the Delta Water Company to Agthia Group and the private placement of a minority stake in Initial Saudi Arabia for Alesayi Group.
Prior to joining Swicorp in 2010, Mehdi worked in mergers & acquisitions as an intern in Paris, France. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from IHEC Carthage, Tunisia, and a Master of Science, with a major in finance, from ESCP Europe.
