Imenco Aqua has been acquired by AIS

Advanced Innergy Holdings Ltd. (AIH, trading as AIS) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in Imenco Aqua AS and Imenco Chile SA, together referred to as Imenco Aqua, a global supplier of aquaculture technology solutions based in Norway and Chile.

Imenco Aqua is a Norwegian aquaculture technology company with over 50 years in the industry, delivering robust, innovative solutions for salmon farming worldwide. Headquartered in Norway with a strong presence in Chile, it specializes in oxygen and gas diffusion systems, biomass measurement, water quality monitoring and camera-based surveillance. Its portfolio includes patented oxygenation technology, AI-driven imaging for fish health monitoring and manual and robotic feeding systems designed to boost efficiency and sustainability. Imenco Aqua’s offshore engineering heritage ensures durable, high-performance products tailored for challenging marine environments. With a broad customer base, local service hubs and a higher rental model improving margins, the company is positioned for growth in high-demand segments of global aquaculture.

AIS is a global engineering and materials technology company delivering advanced insulation, passive fire protection, buoyancy and cable protection solutions. The company serves sectors including offshore energy, marine, industrial and renewables, providing mission-critical products and services that protect infrastructure, equipment and personnel in demanding environments.

Imenco is a Norway-based engineering and technology group delivering specialized products and integrated solutions to ocean and industrial industries. The company operates across the offshore energy, renewables, aquaculture and marine sectors, with capabilities spanning subsea electronics, corrosion protection, refuelling systems and monitoring technologies.
