CBL Alimentos has been acquired by Arlon Group LLC
The private shareholders of CBL Alimentos have sold the company to Arlon Group LLC. Financial details have not been disclosed.
CBL Alimentos is the largest dairy company in the northeast of Brazil. It produces 650,000 liters per day and has a broad portfolio of milk products with more than 110 references. Betânia, CBL's main brand, was founded in 1971 and has a UHT market share of approximately 30%.
Arlon Group is a private equity firm that specializes in small to middle-market and buy-out investments. The firm typically invests in food and agricultural businesses including the entire food supply chain, from production to distribution and final consumer. Arlon Group primarily invests in the USA, Brazil, Colombia and Peru.
