Ken is a Managing Director at Oaklins DeSilva+Phillips in New York, where he leads the healthcare media team. Ken has been involved in a wide range of healthcare media and related business and consumer media for over three decades, both as senior executive and as a consultant on strategy and business development. His clients include GE Healthcare (electronic medical records group), Johns Hopkins Medicine (medical system), Med-IQ and Pri-Med (medical education). He also served as an advisor to Osmosis (digital medical education).
Before joining Oaklins DeSilva+Phillips, Ken worked with numerous healthcare media and health organizations, including medical centers, practice groups and communications agencies, to launch and expand business initiatives. In 2003, Ken was Senior Vice President and Publisher of Physicians Practice, a US practice management media company acquired by United Business Media (UBM) in 2007. Previously, he was co-founder and President of LGI, which was acquired by StateNet (acquired LexisNexis). Ken has a JD from the University of Florida and a BA from Brown University.
