The private shareholders of Metaware have sold the company to Gfi Informatique for an undisclosed consideration.

The company is the European leader in IT cost reduction and it is entirely focused on the legacy modernization market, having delivered more than 200 mission critical projects, with a hundred per cent success rate across Europe, America, and Asia. Metaware provides complete modernization solutions – Refine® technology and project delivery services – in the mainframe migrations, language and database migrations, and code agilization areas. The company's Refine® transformation technology is unmatched in the legacy modernization market.
Gfi Informatique is a France-based company specializing in information technology and communication aimed at serving large corporations in the public sector. The company has four main business activities: consulting, integration, outsourcing and software.
