Santiago is an associate director in the investment banking team at Oaklins VALO Columbus in Argentina, with over six years’ experience in advising clients on sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, capital raisings and debt restructuring processes throughout Latin America. He has advised corporate clients across sectors, including oil & gas services, industrial manufacturing, construction materials and automotive. Notable transactions include advising Aconcagua Energía on its debt restructuring (US$220 million), as well as sell-side mandates for oilfield services and industrial companies in the region.

Before joining the firm, Santiago served as a manager in the strategy and transactions division at Ernst & Young, providing corporate finance advisory services. He has a background in accounting and business, and has strong expertise in financial modeling and valuation.
