Vamat, a Netherlands-based company specializing in smart and renewable energy solutions, has been acquired by Esprinet Group. The acquisition marks a strategic expansion for Esprinet into the Benelux and Irish markets, further reinforcing its position in the renewable energy sector and supporting its broader commitment to digital transformation and the green transition.
Founded in 2015 and headquartered in the Netherlands, Vamat is a B2B distributor of smart energy solutions and a Value Added Partner of Huawei. The company supplies inverters, battery storage systems and electric vehicle (EV) charging products to resellers and engineering, procurement and construction companies (EPCs) across the Benelux and Ireland.
Esprinet Group, a publicly traded Italian company, is a leading distributor of high-tech products in Southern Europe and a provider of applications and services supporting digital transformation and green transition. The group employs approximately 1,800 people and reported US$4.8 billion (€4.1 billion) in sales in 2024. It operates through three main brands: Esprinet, V-Valley and Zeliatech.
