Tim Wilson

Tim is a director at Oaklins Henslow in Australia, with over 30 years’ professional experience across investment banking, private equity and law. Over his career, Tim has advised, had board roles, invested in and/or exited across the financial services, technology, food manufacturing and wholesaling, agriculture, mining services, education, healthcare, retirement villages and student accommodation sectors. ​

Prior to Oaklins Henslow, Tim was head of Blue Sky Private Equity, leading the growth capital and venture capital teams for 10 years. Before that, he spent over 10 years in investment banking, including with Credit Suisse in London and Investec Bank in Australia, with a focus on leveraged finance, financial sponsor coverage and M&A. Tim started his career working as a corporate lawyer with Minter Ellison for four years. He has undergraduate commerce and law degrees from the University of Queensland, a master’s in finance from London Business School and post-graduate courses from FINSIA and Harvard Business School.
