Stephen Bowring

Stephen is a director at Oaklins Henslow in Australia. He has over 25 years’ professional experience in corporate finance and M&A across diverse industries, operating as both advisor and principal investor. With extensive public market takeover and private capital experience, Stephen has developed deep sector expertise in financial services, technology software, insurance and automotive parts and services. He has executed over 80 transactions during his career, including advising on the divestment of Risk Capital Advisers to one of the world’s top three warranty and indemnity insurance brokerage firms; completing the sale of Mainstream Group to Apex Group via a scheme of arrangement; and advising Presidian on its sale to McMillan Shakespeare.

Previously, Stephen led over AUS$2.5 billion in successful transactions at Miles Advisory. He has a Master of Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Business, along with a Graduate Diploma in Corporations Law.
