Partner

Tijn is a partner at Oaklins Netherlands. With over 18 years of investment banking experience, Tijn has broad experience in (international) sell-side, buy-side and strategic advisory assignments in the Dutch mid-market. He leads the firm’s private equity coverage and business support services teams. Within the latter team, he particularly focuses on safety/security, TICC, healthcare services and IT services. Transactions he has advised on include the sale of OGD from Bolster Investment Partners to BBTG (backed by IceLake Capital), the sale of Euphoria Mobility from Plain Vanilla Investments to Sofindev, the acquisition of Novicare by Gimv (from Gilde HC), the acquisition of RB+ by Smile Invest, the sale of SK AeroSafety to LLCP and Bridgepoint’s subsequent acquisition of SK AeroSafety four years later, Fields Group’s sale of FMTC to Smile Invest, Main Capital’s sale of LOQATICS and Inergy, NPM Capital’s sale of Mentaal Beter and Seven2’s sale of SK FireSafety.

Prior to joining Oaklins Netherlands in 2024, Tijn was a partner in KPMG’s M&A team in the Netherlands, responsible for both the business services and private equity coverage teams. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in econometrics and a master’s in business economics, with a specialization in investments and corporate finance, both from Tilburg University.
