Cerveja Praya has joined forces with Better Drinks

Cerveja Praya has merged with Better Drinks.

Founded in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Praya is a craft beer classified as witbier, which differentiates itself by its 100% natural, vegan and without chemicals. The company uses its marketing strategy to position itself as the local beer, highlighting the characteristics and differentials of its product: a beer that is soft, refreshing, organic and Brazilian. Furthermore, its social and environmental commitment converges with a growing market of consumers interested in healthier and more sustainable products. Available in more than 2,500 points of sale, the company operates in the off-trade, on-trade, online and distributor channels, both in relevant regional and big national retailers.

A Brazilian group with innovative beverage brands, Better Drinks wants to transform the traditional sector by uniting brands that think differently and want to deliver quality and convenience allied to the desires of the new consumer. The group is made up of the brands: F!VE (ready to drink), Praya (premium beers), Vivant (canned wine), Mamba Water (water), Baer-Mate (mate with gas and natural caffeine) and Vermelhão Amaro, made in partnership with the Brazilian singer Gusttavo Lima.

One of Oaklins’ teams in Brazil acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Cerveja Praya’s shareholders.
